German Radio Host Describes BTS as "Some Crappy Virus” ドイツ人司会者 BTSは『くだらないウイルスだ』

BTS covered a song of the British band Coldplay on MTV unplugged. A German radio presenter criticised the performance, calling it "blasphemous" and called BTS "a stupid virus" during a live broadcast on 24 February.In response, fans in various countries posted on SNS saying the presenter's comment was a "prejudice against Asians". So the presenter and the radio station has apologised.

BTS has worn hats that looked like it's Nazi-inspired before, so perhaps the people in Germany didn't think well of BTS? Anyway, it's sad... 😢

This issue shows the fact that Asian countries are lumped together and discriminated against. It's sad for me to see such a situation from a fan's point of view and also as an Asian person. It's no wonder BTS is gaining momentum right now and the number of antis are increasing, but people all over the world need to know that this kind of offensive racist comments are unacceptable✨.

この問題を見ると、アジアの国々は一緒にされて差別されている現実が見えます。今回のような発言はファンとしても、また同じアジア人としても悲しいですよね。いまBTSは勢いがあってアンチが増えるのも仕方ないですが、こういう差別的発言は許されないことを世界中の人が意識する必要があると思います✨
