    In this interview, SUGA said that many people pretend to be strong as if to say that they are weak makes them weak, but that is wrong. The fact that they are able to embrace their weaknesses and make music about that is what makes them so ahead of their time and inspires so many people.

    Also, although it wasn't mentioned in the article, I think that the visuals of BTS are also changing the way people think. Not only BTS but also in Kpop itself,  men have beautiful skin and wear make-up. It's a concept that is new and has changed people's minds worldwide.

    今回のインタビューでSUGAは、多くの人はまるで「自分は弱い」と言うこと自体が自分を弱い人間にすると思って強がるが、それは間違っていると言っています。このように男性でも強がらず人間の弱さを受け入れて音楽にするというのが、時代の最先端を行く様で多くの人の心を動かしているのでしょう。

    また、記事の中ではあまり触れられていませんでしたが、BTSはビジュアルなども今までの概念を覆すものになっているのではないでしょうか。BTSだけでなく、Kpop自体がそういう文化ですが、男の人がきれいな肌をしてメイクをしたりしています。世界的に見てこのようなコンセプトが新鮮で人の意識を変えたのです。

    多様性が尊重され始めている時代で「男らしさ」における先入観を取っ払って、力強い姿を見せたり、聴く人の心の支えとなるような音楽を出したりするのが世界にうけていると言えるのではないでしょうか。
